For this class you are encouraged to bring along props that will be helpful with your relaxation in each pose. My suggested props are a yoga bolster, two blocks, a strap, and at least 3 blankets. I completely understand not everyone has these items at home (it's taken me years to accrue my collection). Some great substitutions are a firm cushion, such as a couch cushion or pillows to replace a bolster, for blocks you can use books or just additional blankets, and blankets, well hopefully you have those handy. Get creative and don't overthink it, the props will come with time.
Restorative yoga is meant to help you relax, restore, and rejuvenate the entire body. As with any class, always listen to your bodies needs and adjust accordingly.
